As shown below, we have some customer case studies to help you gain a better understanding of creating digital design.

  • Natasha sent us an image and asked for help with printing it. After our sales representative Dori checked, she found that the image has a DPI of only 72 and a size of 15x15cm. Unfortunately, we can't print this image on a 90x90cm scarf with such low quality. Dori emailed Natasha to request an image with a DPI higher than 200 and the correct size. Our customer Natasha didn't understand why her image didn't work, so she tried changing the DPI on Photoshop and sent it back, but it still didn't work for printing. After carefully discussing with Natasha, she finally asked our designer for help with designing a new image.

Here are some tips for optimizing your digital files:
Files to be no longer than 3m.
– Ensure that all your files are in the RGB color space with an embedded color profile. While the standard default is typically sRGB, if you aim to achieve vibrant and bold colors, consider using the Adobe RGB (1998) color mode.
– A minimum resolution of 180 dpi (for the double side printing and some complex designs, the dpi should be 300).
– Pls make sure your design fits into the printable width of the fabric you have chosen, If it's too wide some of your artwork will be cut off.i.e. the typical fabric width is 92cm, 112cm, and 138cm,  which means you should make 92x92cm which incl the border width.
– All layers are flattened.
– Saved with no compression.
– Don't ZIP files.
– Pls make sure files are saved correctly, Create designs with JPEG- or TIFF-formatted.

  • How can I transform a hand drawing and an oil painting into a printed scarf?

An artist takes meticulous care when hand painting a canvas. This unique painting may only adorn one lucky owner's wall, but many more people can appreciate it when it is transformed into a scarf. Making a scarf from a painted canvas involves several expert processing steps before it can be called 'wearable art'.What a wonderful achievement it is to accomplish this.

Step 1. "Prepare for the completed drawing; this is half the battle."

Step 2. "Scan or take photos of your paintings, make sure the DPI of the scanning is over 300, and the format could be TIFF, PDF."

Step 3. "Transform the painting to Photoshop."

Step 4. "Add the LOGO or border for the printing design"

2. DPI. All designs for printing should be above 180, if there are any un-work designs, we will let you know soon and if you need any support with the designs, pls feel free to let us know.

3. LOGO, we will help make sure the position of your LOGO is correct and not being cut when we make the hemming, besides, if your LOGO will not print clearly, we also will contact you accordingly.

HOW TO ORDER CUSTOM SCARF

We highly recommend that you produce sample prints of your artwork before placing any bulk orders. This step is crucial for evaluating the colors and outcomes of your digital files on the selected fabrics. Once you have approved the results, larger orders can be confidently placed. If you have previously utilized a different printing company before approaching Zhigeng Silk, please take note that our printing may exhibit variations. It is not advisable to rely solely on tests printed elsewhere.

During every step of the sampling process at Zhigeng Silk – from fabric selection and sizing advice to printing methods guidance and packaging choices – our aim is always focused on providing comprehensive support so that you can create a high-quality custom print scarf that meets both functional requirements and aesthetic preferences.
